2018 Grand Cherokee headlights dry from inside

Hi,
Is there any one else having this issue with their headlights?
It does not seem like condensation, it looks like if the inner headlight was dry and peeling some flakes on one side. I blew some air thinking it was condensation and nothing happen than I inserted a screw driver with cloth and seems like its just dryness..

 

Is it just on one side? Does it go away after the head lights heat up from use? Sometimes limited condensation happens but excess condensation may indicate a failed seal or crack. Replacement may be in order unless you want to try sealing it.

 

I have had condensation on my '07 GC. I removed it and drilled a drain hole in the bottom, I have done this on other vehicles also.

 

I took mine back to the dealer and they replace it with a new one

The other side is barely starting to happen. Its there all the time, doesnt change if I use the headlight or not. It doesn't seem like condensation, that is what I dont understand.

 

I will go to the dealer see if they will replace it. It has 32k miles so i might be on my own

 

I've had almost the same thing with my old headlights, and the only that helped - purchase of new ones. Here is a great resource with LED headlights for Jeeps. And they have pretty nice and relevant information about those models, I gotta say. I didn't even realize how different they are.
