    Another question. In the process of restoring my CJ5, I'd love to install an "articulated" steering column. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to install the column from a '88-'95 CJ7 on to a CJ5? (I had a CJ7 some years back, and it had the steering wheel you could lift or lower (when I drive I very much prefer to have the steering wheel almost at a vertical position)... Any suggestions / ideas? Thanks in advance for your comments/advice!!!

    I have seen quite a few tilt steering columns in CJs. What guys use are the mid 70s era General Motors units that can be found in a junkyard. You are going to be doing a lot of internet research and with the help of a local junkyard to help you track down one. Bring your existing column with you to find one that will fit. CJs are well setup for parts swapping. The older they are, the easier it is,
