i have a winch which blocks part of my radiator, then i carry a chainsaw on top of the winch, so a good part of my radiator is not getting air. when the weather is hot, 75-80 degree's, when i'm in the woods going slow , i don't get enough air flow and i over heat. does anyone else have this problem and what can be done to make it better ? at hiway speeds it's ok.

On my '86 with the original two row radiator and a Warn HS9000 winch, there has been no getting warm issues. I would suggest replacing the items that have not been replaced in a while or at least checking like coolant, thermostat, radiator cap, and fan clutch. Although the fan clutch is a good possibility.

Welcome @golfgod ...follow the maintenance items suggested but the underlying problem is likely the blockage preventing adequate air flow to reduce engine temperatures. Could look into a radiator upgrade (Mishimoto) or adding electric fans or improving air flow (lower winch mount / relocate chain saw) or hood vents.
