Best tires for my JK??

With all of the tires out there along with the pro's and con's, I'm coming to the conclusion that most tires will work on my 2014 JK Unlimited Sport. Even the less expensive ones. I'm on the street 99 pct of the time. That would change once I replace my current tires that have around 60k on them. I would look to do some more off-roading on beginner trails. I'm looking at Falken Wildpeak AT3W All-Terrain tires? I feel if I were doing more difficult trails, bigger tires and lifts would be necessary. No need for a full explanation, you can keep it simple and thanks in advance...

 

Dude.....there is no simple explanation when it comes to tires. Looks, ability, durability, etc etc. You won't be happy with any tire unless you do your own research. There's just to many tires out there. And if you read posted up threads here. It's all personal preference. Case and point. I run 2 tires. One for the Winter months. And another for the spring and summer months.

Thanks @JKBob 25 !! I agree with you and have taken that approach. I have been reading up on tires and of course, the ones I like the most are the pricey tires. That's smart to run season tire setups. I feel if I can purchase a $130 tire instead of a $175 tire I will be fine and at the end of the day, I can enjoy my Jeep. Thanks again!!

 

AT tires will make that Sport look awesome as a DD. Get the AT that you selected with the slightly larger 32-33s if you're not ready for a lift kit. Then you can traverse the low-mid level trails with more confidence.

That Falken AT3W is a nice tire. I think you’d be happy with them. Bigger is better, at least 285/70. They just do so much for the looks of a Jeep not to mention performance.
