Bought a 93 YJ last with no motor. Been slowly getting it back on the road.

I think I’m just going to post my pics....

sold my ‘85 Toyota pickup because it couldn’t fit me and my three boys. So I needed something that had four seat belts and I really wanted something that I could remove the top from. Couldn’t afford an FJ40.

had to move the springs outside the frame to match the full width spring perches. Guy I bought it from had used the rear stock location and some weird misalignment shackles to make it work. Drove like crap and looked super sketchy. Springs “v’d” out real bad. Fixed now!

Had some worn out 3.5” BDS springs. Replaced them with 2” and did a ubolt flip on the back. Replaced front shackles with some spares laying around in the scrap pile.

also he painted a bunch of stuff pink. Which IMO clashed with the green. So I’ve been rattle canning it.

you can see the weird shackles in the first photo.

Oh and had to rebuild them both.

5.38s. Grizzly front locker and Detroit rear.

Bought a new carb compliant cat so as soon as I get that on I’ll smog it and start driving it!
    Should be fun.

Rig came with 38” Toyos on 16” wheels. Next major upgrade will be 17” wheels and 40”s I think. Get that 14 bolt off the ground a little.

Rear disk brake conversion (came this way, I don’t mind drums...)

Brake pedal is super sloppy. New Jeep disk/disk MC is on its way and hopefully will be enough.

    Thanks!

I’m going to organize my first few post better when I get the chance. And maybe explain this Jeeps history a little.

I also have some more photos of the build but trying to do this from my phone is cumbersome.

So I’ll do it on my work computer :coffee:
