I live in Pacific Northwest and own a 09 jk 2 door, have done quiet a bit of work to my Jeep and still do a lot of difficult trails.

I'm looking to finally add a lift to my rig, while keeping budget under 1k, right now all I am running is 2" spacers and am looking to upgrade springs and shocks.

I use my Jeep as a daily and only wheel it 5 or 6 times a year, looking for comfortable pavement ride while still being able to flex off road, most research is leading me towards rough country 4", any pros or cons of lift? Recommend something better?

    Appreciate any input

I know it is a little more (definitely more) expensive, but if you want a great ride, durability, and flex off-road I would go with Teraflex. When it comes to coil spring lifts you get what you pay for, and the first thing to go in the cheaper lifts is ride quality. I also here that Rubicon makes a decent lift, but they are made by Trans American (4wheelparts wholesalers). If it were my rig I would look for something with adjustable control arms and adjustable track bar. With a teraflex if you bought their cheapest $800+/-, you can build on it later purchasing the adjustable separately later if you want to.

Larger rims/tires as well or staying stock?

There are a lot of good kits out there. Rough Country for sure (we deal with them a lot) - great customer service and products.

Agree with what @OFFGRID said - adjustable control arms really allow fine tuning and tweaking of the system. Teraflex certainly has that - as well as Rough Country - both are honestly great brands :)
