Hi guys I am new to the site, well i have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee AWD 5.2L v8 that has been acting up lately, it acts as if the engine is missing every once in awhile, and when it does this i noticed the tach and speedometer guages are also twitching erratically, i had taken it on a 14 hr round trip here awhile back and it didnt do it on the interstate at 72mph at all! But on the way back to work today it actually stalled completely and it is the first time it has died completely, i also noticed the tach guage acting erratic before it stalled today! Is the Camshaft sensor common for this issue or should i look at the ign. Coil more? If it is the cam sensor where is it located at on this vehicle? I am guessing the bellhousing perhaps? Thanks in advance

Well I found out there is no camshaft sensor on the bellhousing but what the jeep does have is a pickup coil in the distributor so i replaced that along with a new cap and rotor which it needed anyways
