I sold my 2006 TJX to my son about a year ago, I bought it new and have been looking for another good use one. But after owning one from new and keeping it if perfect shape nothing I have looked at meets my Std. So I have been looking at 2112/2014 JK Wrangles . Any thing I should be aware off on this year I would prefer these years they have the penstars V6 and would prefer and Auto Trans.

    Thanks Tomrr 088.jpg

    I've had/have a 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2018 JKs.

The auto trans is the best part of the '12+ JKs.
    In general:
2012 had some casting sand/head issues.
    2013 mostly OK
2014 and up have some radiator and oil cooler issues (which can be fixed) Lots of info on the interwebs about those.

Other than that pretty much good to go.
Side note: 2012/2013 have different oil filters than 2014+. And make sure you put the correct coolant in if you service it, don't mix coolants.
