I went to start the Jeep a few days ago and when I turn the key and it cranked over for several seconds then started and ran. I let it idle for 10 or 15 minutes and then I put it in reverse and it died. I tried to restart it again and it just kept turning over but no fire. I let it sit 24 hours and then I went out there and gave it another shot, only this time it fired right up with a loud misfire. It ran after the misfire and I let it idle again. I put it in reverse and it didn't die, I put it in Drive and it didn't die, I put it in reverse again and it didn't die, and then I put it in Drive and it died.

I know I have a faulty fuel pressure regulator which is causing the long crank. But now I think it's starting to fail completely because my idle isn't correct and it's stalling and not trying to restart after it stalls. If it's not a fuel related problem then it would be an ignition problem but I just replaced the spark plugs and those spark plug wires I bought back in June 2018. So that would boil it down to the ignition coil and the distributor right?
