So driving home when making a left turn Jeep dies , starts after a min or so no problems the rest of the way home , next day went to work no problem but going home died same spot , I did stop for fuel just before it stopped second time , day three went home different way died on sweeping left . looked for short bad connection , fuel pump replaced last winter and coil summer before . This did all start after over heating not sure if its related . Thinking crank sensor ???
    Any ideas anyone???

The '92 4.0 engine should have a crank sensor in the top left side of the bell housing. There is also a cam sensor located under the distributor top plate, if that goes bad it will produce similar results. These sensors do go bad and when they do the issue gets eventually worse to the point that the engine will not start at all. Although you could have fuel pump issues, a pressure test should provide an indicator.

Happens to mine only when I'm low on gas. The gauge on mine is slightly off.
