If you have seen I am currently doing a $10k build. Go check it out and see what you think and and welcome any input.

    My question is this

Looking back if you wish you hadn’t skimped or cheaped out on ....what are those items?

What mods are you glad you went all in on?

Fenders, headlights, bumpers, tire carriers, tires, doors
    Anything

List the item type and PLEASE PLEASE list what item was junk or what item exactly you are glad you did get

On my slow build one of the upgrades I still like very much but wish I chose another product is the Tera Flex HD spare tire hinge. The TF HD hinge is strong, takes the load off the tail gate and was super easy to install. For more style the DV8 tire carrier definitely delivers but is more challenging to install but brings a more aggressive look to the JK.

So you believe you wish you had went dv8?
For appearance purposes you wish you went another way or?

Meant to say I like the DV8 over-the-top tire carrier style over the TF. But the TF has been mostly flawless except for some surface rust that just needs some rattle can touchup.

Brakes. The bigger the tire. The heavier the tire. Longer distance to stop all that rubber. Not to mention the other upgrades. Rolling down the highway or trail. If your brakes fail... .....Brakes are a often overlooked upgrade. Why???? Cuz most upgrades involve the appearance, then its function. In most cases anyway. You can't see your brakes at first. Until you need them. And i am guilty of this. Recently upgraded my brakes. And i should have done it sooner.
Larger rotors. Carbon fiber ceramic pads. Look great. And stop my 35s on a dime.
