I want to change my air intake and I am between Injen EVO5003 cold air intake with dry filter VS AFE Momentum GT Cold air intake with Pro-Guard 7 oiled Filter. Not sure what the differences are or which one is better?

Oiled prob better for mudding being naturally water resistant

"Cold Air Intake"..... what a marketing gimmick. If the system is pulling air from underneath the hood it is a hot air intake and no better than the stock setup except that it may be a little more free flowing.
A true cold air intake will pull air from outside of the engine compartment.

Welcome @YoungNedd ...other than for cool looks under the hood most CAI kits don't offer much bang for the buck and range from $300-400. Not a fan of cleaning and re-oiling those special spendy cone filters. The OEM filter systems perform well and are easy to replace.

Yep I'd spend the money on a snorkle setup first that will be true cool air

Snorkel....a questionable mod for the daily driver but one that really does CAI. The snorkel pre-filter really works to cut down on air filter clogging dusty roads when following others jeeps down the trail. And if the snorkel is installed correctly one can go jeep scuba diving

Where's your fishin hole? Ill meet ya there. :)

Welcome @YoungNedd . As mentioned. CAI offer no benefit to your Jeep. If they produced more HP or Mpgs., manufactures would be using them at their level. They do in fact dress up your engine compartment. Buts that's all they will provide.

    Welcome :jeepwave:

Well you could constantly pack that aluminum tube in ice some how I guess but man I suggest buying a reddy ice franchise first! LoL be better off running your gas line thru an ice bucket . That's old school stuff lol

I've tested a few "cold air" intakes, and found the oiled filters let more dirt into the engine. To add, intake air temps run around 10* or more, hotter than the OEM set up.

I had a chance to buy a 72 goat with a z-gate ratchet shifter when I was 16 . My dad shot it down, probably just as well I might not be alive today. It was midnight blue metallic, I can still see and remember the test drive.
