When I purchased my 2002 TJ, I noticed that the shifter knob is upside down. Is there an easy way to get the know off and turned around?

Auto? You should just have to yank up on it, don't hit your self in the face.

How do you put the auto shifter on upside down?

Thanks, I wasn't sure if it was screwed on or not.

Its not actually upside down but rather turned 180 degrees (shift diagram is upside down). :)

If it's a manual the knob should unscrew.

If its anything like the JK the knob can be a b*t*h to remove. As mentioned pull up firmly and remember to keep face out of range.
