2016 Wrangler just got it, 500 miles on it

Well, so it begins, new vehicle, new problems. I traded my 2011 F550 dually for this new jeep, thinking, ok, new vehicle, maybe this time, no issues, uh like hell!!

Had a good rain yesterday, this particular jeep has the 3 piece top, a puddle of water pooled up inside the tracks, as I rolled down my driveway, this water came gushing in thru the big black round bolt thingy, I mean like a water fountain stream, as I rolled fwd, the rest of the puddle came thru the top above the mirror, rite into the dash all over the radio face.

I'm thinking, sure, dealer will trouble shoot, try to duplicate the condition, maybe shore up the rubber molding or even tighten down the multiple L clamps. But, its the process of going there and tell them the problems, waste my time. get a stupid ass loaner, their trouble shooting technique surely is by laying a hose over the top and see what happens. Ive had my share of warranty crap with that 550, after it was all repaired thru the yrs, it finally panned out. I decide to down size, now new problems. I'll never win.

 

Of course, I took the tops off, looked at all the molding around the pieces, looks intact, no twists or squished parts. I did notice that on the corners, there is this felt type material on top of the rubber, they were soaked, but then again, its felt, it will soak up moisture. I'll wait and see if it happens again, if so, back to the dealership, beoch and complain, blah, blah, blah, give me a loaner, I'll Starski and Hutch it, hit every pothole, fill the motor up with oil, see what happens, you know, its a rental!!
