IMG_0346.jpg Hi I'm Bob and I'm a Jeep addict..... (this is where you all say Hi Bob) I have owned seven Jeep products in my life, six of them Wranglers and I clearly have a problem.....ha ha

Seriously, I have owned six Wranglers and loved them all. Each one was "the best Jeep I ever had" and it retained that title until I bought the next one. My current one year old JLUR is "the best Jeep I've ever owned" but then again I saw a Gladiator at the Dallas Auto Show last Sunday......

Several years ago in the boredom of a too early, early retirement I realized I needed to do something that fun, meaningful, and tied my software background and love of Jeeps all together. As a result, after much effort I have opened an e-commerce store that sells Jeeps parts and aftermarket accessories.

The4x4Guys.com is a family operated business that currently has 75 brands and over 30,000 products online, but we have access to dozens of additional brands. Many of them can't provide images, descriptions, and or fitment data in an industry standard format yet, but I can acquire these parts in most cases for anyone. the only brands I do not have access to are those that require you to have a brick and mortar installation shop.

Our store focuses on the Jeep Wrangler family from CJ, YJ, TJ, JK, JL and soon JT (Gladiator). Any Forum member that shops at our store should used the Coupon Code "JEEPSNETFREE" for free shipping on any order over $100 and that means that heavy items that we usually charge $50 to ship is waived.

If you have any questions about finding a product, or a brand that you don't see in the store, please feel free to PM me here (I"ll be online every day) or email me at bob@the4x4guys.com and I will do my best to respond quickly.

I'm looking forward to participating both as a vendor but more importantly as a fellow addict, I mean Jeep owner, where I can add some value.

    Thanks

    Bob Kirk

Welcome Bob! Looking forward to jeep builds, buzz and talk. Lots of competition for the huge jeep market of parts and upgrades. Hope to see some forum specials or group buy specials to stir the pot here in our favor to stretch our jeep bucks.

    Hi Bob. @The4x4Guys.
Already checked out your site. Still lookin around. If your prices are reasonable, and can compete with another distributor I buy from. I will definitely throw my Jeeps Funds your way.

Here's the deal on our pricing. Most manufacturers have an MSRP price on most every part. Many (well over 80% of them) also have what is known as a MAP (Minimum Advertised Price). In order to become a dealer of their brand, I have to sign a contract guaranteeing that I will honor their MAP. Failure to do so is painful - you go from an initial slap on the wrist, to a 30-90 day suspension, to a full on ban. In fact, if you purchase a product from a dealer on the "Do No Sell List" most brands will refuse to honor their warranty. That is why I now am skeptical of many of the "deals" on Amazon and eBay. As my Dad used to say "If a deal is too good to be true, it probably isn't......either a good deal or true"

We sell at MAP period. We've tried to making our shipping as competitive as possible. I never understood the old adage "I lose a dollar on every item I sell, but I make it up on volume". We have a $7.99 shipping charge on orders for less than $100, it actually costs us more than that. We offer free shipping on all orders over $100, with the exception of "heavy items", which we define as items over 85 pounds. However, the Coupon Code "JEEPSNETFREE" will waive that charge.

If you see an item (same brand and SKU) for less somewhere else, give us a chance to see if we can match it. We update our manufacturers data every week and its possible our system missed a pricing change. If it is not below the MAP price for that item, we will match the price and ensure free delivery regardless of the order size. Hopefully, everyone thinks this is a fair policy. Give us a chance we will do our best!

    Thanks

    Bob

Im looking for an Aux Light mount that will mount the lights closer to the mirrors, rather than in front of the windshield, if that makes sense. Kinda like what I had on my JK:

That's funny, I'm looking for the exact same thing for my JL. I will send you a list tomorrow of all that I have found so far. Off the top of my head (before going to bed.... been up since o'dark thirty), there is American Trail Products, CARR, Artec, Baja Designs, KC HiLites (which I like but isn't by the mirrors). I will send several more in the morning, I promise.

Cool! No rush. Only one I found so far is this one: (sorry for the competitor link :( )

    https://www.quadratec.com/p/rigid-industries/cowl-light-mount-jeep-wrangler-jl

My goal is to run a similar lighting set up on my JL, as it was perfect for my needs. (2 Baja Design Squadron Pro, and 2 BD Squadron Sports )

I'm wracking my brain right now, but I saw one yesterday that sits a bit further out than that one, that allows the LED to swivel 180 degrees. it will come to me.

Compared to some JL auxiliary light mounts that Rigid mount might not interfere with the folding windshield

I have reviewed several manufacturers this morning and can't seem to find any A-pillar mount LED brackets that allow for the windshield to be folded down (I'm actually surprised that everything I find seems to forget that the windshield folds down)or able to support two LED cubes. The Rigid Mount may actually be your best bet. I have a note into RIGID on another matter and expect to hear from them on Monday. In the meantime, this is a price I can match with Quadratec, my site is incorrectly showing MSRP. My developer and I are working on the RIGID fix this weekend.

I'm curious what Baja Design lights are you looking at? I'm interested personally, I've been looking at RIGID myself (sku- 502313)
