    Greetings,
I am new to Jeeps.net and relatively new to off-roading. My wife and I recently moved from Eugene Oregon to Nampa Idaho. So we are now exploring Idaho's high-desert OHV environment - which is completely different from Oregon's mountain-forest OHV environment.

We have signed-up to volunteer at Grant Kohrs Ranch this spring and plan to explore off-roading in and around Deer Lodge Montana. We would appreciate learning specific recommendations. Thank you.

    Sincerely,

    Matthew

Aggrex, unfortunately I haven't driven sufficient off-road to determine what I would like to add. As I recently retired, I plan on many more off-road excursions starting this spring.

That's okay the JK is quite capable stock and upgrades will probably start after more off-road adventures or sticking around here LOL.

The way I see it figuring out just what you want to do with your jeep really helps. I would suggest a Jeep club to get you going, most of them have websites. I have done lots of volunteer work with the CJ and find it a great way to get out.
