I have a 1989 jeep YJ. I cannot find windshield wiper bushings that fit from any parts stores including JC Whitney and Morris 4x4. Any suggestions? The ones I are worn out and wipers keep slipping off track.

I called Quadratec and Morris, no luck but I just used the link you provided and that is the first site I have seen that actually says they may fit. Thank you so much!

Your welcome. I realize it is more expensive to order the whole linkage kit, but it does come with new bushings, and both Morris and Quadratec, as well as 4WD and 4wheelparts and others all carry the linkage kit; just not the bushings by themselves. I purchased a linkage kit for my '79 CJ-7. I mention this just in case the AP warehouse bushings don't fit.

Ohhhhh. I see. They show one for the CJ and for the TJ, but not for the YJ. I bet the CJ will fit the YJ. I have an email into Crown automotive to confirm this. Good luck on the bushings. Hope they fit.

Crown got back to me. They stated that they don't make a YJ kit. They further said that the CJ might be able to be modified to fit, they have never tried it. If anything maybe the bushings would be interchangeable. They recommended trying a dealership. Here is the best dealership parts house that I have found. Just search "wiper linkage" they should have it and they are cheap as far as dealerships go.
