I've had ox for a few months now and it is time for a review.

Ox locker failed to send everything I needed for the install. One delay led to another and I ended up having to go to the Easter jeep safari without even testing out the lockers. I was pissed. I called ox and ripped them a new one as it almost cost me the trip to moab.

OX really stepped up to the plate. The owner took everything I had to say and acted professionally. He also made me a deal on other stuff my jeep really needed that made me put my frustration to the side.

The customer service at ox is excellent. I've even sent emails on weekends and get almost an immediate response sometimes.

In fact I emailed ox on a saturday from moab when one locker stopped activating. They CALLED me right back and even offered to meet up in person to fix the issue. The owner walked us thru what we needed to do and we were able to fix the issue in the field and I was able to keep wheeling.

The product has been bullet proof so far. No issues at all except for adjusting the cable once in a while. I did 9 trails at moab including pritchett canyon and kept up with badass rigs with 40s (I have 35s). Did everything they did except for son of rock pile, but neither did those with 40s haha.

The rear locker has about 200 hours of use by now and continues to work flawlessly wheeling 5-10 hours weekly and locked the entire time.

The cable actuator is awesome. No need to wait for an air compressor or electric switch to activate. You put the cable in lock and you know you're locked.

It can be locked in motion. I like this because I can activate the locker as im approaching an obstacle without having to stop.

Ox has a drive away lock. If you're in a rut and the cable won't work, the drive away lock can activate it manually at the pumpkin.

Comes with a diff cover with OX on it. The price of the locker is comparable to arb and Eton. However the diff cover is included in the price with ox.

Since you don't need the constant air pressure or electric signal, ox can be run like a spool. Once I hit the trail I lock the rear and leave it. However ox offers air/electric for those who prefer it.

Overall I would recommend ox and will buy again in the future. They aren't perfect but they owned up to their mistakes and made up for it. They have excellent customer service, the product has worked flawlessly, can be manually engaged in an emergency, can be locked while moving, comes with a tough diff cover, offers cable actuator and can be used as a spool easier than others.

    Hope this helps.

Nice review for an alternative to air/electric actuated lockers. The manual over-ride is an appealing feature.
