Manual steering box replacement

    I have a 1986 CJ7, great shape, been doing alot of maintenance restoration like brakes, exhaust, alot of electrical restoration, now i am moving into the suspension, i have a good bushing kit, i have the front springs disconnected and the front DIFF dropped, all tie rods removed, new ones on order as well as drag link , sway bar disconnects etc, i need to replace this manual gear box and im having a hard time finding (ie YouTube, internet) instructions specific to my CJ, primarially the removing the intermediate steering shaft, i have a manual , but its no road map on techniques, does anyone have any info on any instructional site that will specifically show how to take this shaft and other stuff out for a 1986 CJ7 or at least close ?

    Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear. AMC20 with G2 1 piece chromos trussed, Dana 30 with G2 chromos and 760x ujoints and MM Stainless Hubs, Geared 4.56. Tom Woods shafts, Metal cloaks, Caged, 37" Toyo MTs.
    I just saw this. Did you figure the steering shaft out? Are you going to convert to Power steering?
