what’s up guys just bought a Jeep xj and I tried the radio and only one speaker is working which is the one in the headliner. Is this a common problem. I was thinking the fade knob might be broken on the inside. Should I buy a used radio please help me out boys

Welcome! As much as I want an XJ project one day, your radio and speakers are >15 years old so upgrading both would be my suggestion for decent sound. @fiesta346 posted a recent thread about his XJ radio upgrade and did a great job getting the XJ audio up-to-date...check it out

I would just get a new aftermarket radio. You will have to get a filler plate to cover some of the opening as it is an odd 1.5 din opening and most aftermarket radios are single or double din. There are some 1.5 din radios on the market.

I wish I had one speaker that worked..... in the market for a new radio myself.

    Oh and welcome from Oklahoma!
