I’m having to replace my front axle on the passenger side. I ordered a replacement and when I went to install it, it was about 5 inches too short.

I’ve got a Sahara just trying to figure out if there’s a different type of axle I need to order

Welcome! Ordered the right part for the right Wrangler year? Assuming you meant front passenger-side axle shaft. Just return and order the correct replacement. Post a pic of the problem, part#, where you ordered and some pics of the Sahara

Perhaps you ended up with a TJ shaft instead of a JK shaft?
Rear axle shaft instead of a front axle shaft?

    And welcome from Oklahoma.

your jeep dealer can use the VIN# to assist in the correct part being sold.

Did you pick the part # or did the part professional pick the part? - shop local, talk to a part professional .

I ordered another one from extreme terrain I talked to a sales person there so I’m hoping it’ll be the right one this time
