My old 98 jeep had a zipper issue on the half door. Someone said a place that does auto seat repairs or car top repair shop could fix it but I never got around to going because I just always took the half door off. Only time I ever pulled it down with zipper was when paying tolls but once I got E-Pass I had the wife sew the window shut.

But yeah, try an auto seat repair place or car top repair shop and see if they do that kind of stuff?

Another member here has a similar problem @Billy1234. It's not an easy DIY fix. I believe the best fix is take it to a professional. Or just buy a new soft top. You can pick one up from numerous companies for less than a grand. If that's financially possible for you.
