I have a cj 5 golden eagle and I want to replace the carbon filter system. Can anyone tell me where I can find a new one or how to properly change the filter system.

Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear. AMC20 with G2 1 piece chromos trussed, Dana 30 with G2 chromos and 760x ujoints and MM Stainless Hubs, Geared 4.56. Tom Woods shafts, Metal cloaks, Caged, 37" Toyo MTs.
To my knowledge you can't find them. I don't know if anyone makes them anymore. I converted to fuel injection, and now the canister is there to vent the gas tank. It does not recirculate back into the vacuum system anymore.

I searched a bit and did not find any replacements. There are some u-tube videos on rebuilding the evap canister but I might venture to try a similar vintage GM evap canister that has similar # ports and dimensions.
