I have a 2011 Wrangler soft top. My problem is,, I want to transport my kayak but can not with the soft top. I have a front roof rack that a friend gave me but the rear one didn’t fit. I’m looking for some help finding a solution to help transport. I’ve seen the Lange system that mounts to the spare tire but didn’t want to spend $250 for it. Does anyone have a cheaper solution to this problem??

Welcome! Post some pics of the Jeep and what roof rack you already have to get the best answer or solution. Understand the need to stay in a budget but skimping on quality could affect safety of others on the road, weight capacity of the rack, expandable capability, etc. Increased quality and design could mean less parts to assemble, holes to drill and durable construction.

Welcome to the forum @bifrig. Don't have an answer to your delemia. But I would like to stress something aggrex stated.
Skimping on quality could affect others on the road. I have first hand experience in this matter. Was driving behind, and thank God 2 lanes to the right of a moron that had his canoe bungied straight up off his bumper. Can ya guess the result. He hit highway speed and that :censored: canoe went airborne. Hit 2 cars behind him before it flew off highway. I was almost embarrassed for him being a Jeep owner. But yes ...granted.......not all dumb asses drive hummers. Lolll. Some times they buy a Jeep. :(. Sad...but true.
