My vapor lines are rusted out an gone. Do I really need them . They go to the charcoal box up front. How will it impact the performance of my engine

Other than possibly releasing evaporating fumes from the gas tank to the environment.....it will run but it depends upon the system as designed. Can you cut off the rusted sections and replace with rubber fuel lines?

    1) You need them .
    2) They will negatively impact performance.
