Looking to swap out my factory chrome antenna to a shorter one. Any suggestions?

I've tried the stubby & 12", not happy with either.
Up next is the antenna delete and moving the radio to the CB antenna.

I have heard a lot of people doing this. I took off stock antenna didn't do the switch to cb. Satellite radio needs no antenna.

I replaced with a stubby, and its been fine. Signal is a little less for FM/AM, but I mostly listen to Sat/MP3

Even receive antennas are tuned to frequency and just like in CB a longer antenna works better. In town you may not notice a difference but get away from town you and likely will.

Also the satellite antenna is up around the sound bar on the JKs so it has an antenna just not the same one.

Short antennas usually look great but depending upon where you live the signal loss can be significant. Pictured is what I have on the JK but one can simply cut the chrome antenna and rattlecan black. Locally I get the channels I need but it's usually the Magnaflow and I.

I replaced my stock antenna with a 12 inch. Signal was pretty weak for the stations I listened to. Replaced it with a 16 inch. Some what better. But not what I expected. Have since subbed to Sirius.
