1978 CJ7 Quadratrac headers?

    305 chevy engine autmatic trasm
    I have a CJ7 1978 Quadratrac with a 305 chevy engine. I'm looking to put some headers...what kind is the best and where would I buy them from?

    1979 Jeep CJ7, 258, TH350, NP208
    Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear. AMC20 with G2 1 piece chromos trussed, Dana 30 with G2 chromos and 760x ujoints and MM Stainless Hubs, Geared 4.56. Tom Woods shafts, Metal cloaks, Caged, 37" Toyo MTs.
    Man there are headers for the 305/350 (they are interchangeable) chevy on CL all the time for under $100.00 Get them. I've used both heddman and hooker headers. Don't wrap in heat wrap them as it makes them rust through. Use that new rustoleum 2000 degree High temp paint (comes only in flat black) on them to prevent them from rusting. Make sure you get the right year i.e. pre-1987 and 1987 and newer. On a 305 your not going to see any performance gains from header to the next, but you will see improvement going from stock exhaust to header. It runs cooler under the hood too.
