I just got this 82 CJ7, 258, 4 speed. My first of many questions is... which transmission might I have? I need to get under and clean it up before I'll be able to pull numbers. The puzzler for me is it's a typical 4 speed shift pattern except reverse is to the passenger side and forward. What options are there for this pattern? Thanks

Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear. AMC20 with G2 1 piece chromos trussed, Dana 30 with G2 chromos and 760x ujoints and MM Stainless Hubs, Geared 4.56. Tom Woods shafts, Metal cloaks, Caged, 37" Toyo MTs.
There were two 4-sp offered: Borg-Warner T-4, and the Tremec T-176. From inside the Jeep note the T-4 has a curved stick and the T-176 has a straight stick.
