Have a 2012 Jeep Liberty, had no heat coming through the air vents, so flushed out the heater core and entire system, replaced new thermostat, added new antifreeze, checked module for vent, it is now functioning correctly.
There are no leaks anywhere, I now have heat, however I also now have the smell of antifreeze coming through the vents; would like to know if someone has an idea of what ight be the culprit?

Welcome from Florida and to the site. I would say most likely a small pin hole in the heater core. Since you flushed the heater core you probably removed what ever was clogging the leak. You could check the connections on the heater core thru the firewall. You would need a radiator pressure tester to pressurize the system to see if you have any leaks. If you don't have one try advance auto parts or auto zone. Good luck.

Thanks Bob for the follow-up, I was thinking along those lines aswell; there was no indication of pressure drop and this was what I could not figure out!

Glad to help. If all else checked good then you would need to replace the heater core. If I remember right that is at least a 2- 6 hr job depending on tools, skill level and friends to help. Or you could do I dare say add a stop leak. See Tj section on Bars leak. IMO this would be a temp fix. If this was me I would R&R the heater core.
