    Any time Bob! That kind of thing happens. Someone once told me that the shackles on my front bumper made it look like the truck has nipple rings. I removed them promptly...

    Yeah, Any flying over people was done with all permission, and in a couple cases, at the will of the local FD.

    you said it's the drone you fly for work no?

    Whether or not you're paid for flying or not, the FAA's definition of "commercial" with regards to UAS is if "it's flown in the furtherance of a business..."

    Not trying to be the drone police Christoff - just want to make sure folks are educated and doing it the right way. And a bonus, if your company is caught flying "in furtherance of a business" the FAA can fine the company up to $10k per instance, so you can help save the company some money.

    to get legal it's relatively cheap, study and take the part 107 test (around 100 for study materials & 80 for the test), register each drone with the FAA for $5/each, insure the aircraft and then comply... it's easier than it's ever been to be legal. I can help you pick the study material if you're interested. Jason Schappert (mzeroa.com fame) has a great course (remotepilot101.com) and I think there's a coupon code to get the material for $70.
