Welcome! I like your strategy with the "entry level" jeep once fortified with all those TeraFlex goodies will be an awesome Rubi challenger. My plans don't include a D60 but maybe a D44 locker up front one day soon.

LOL, thanks! We're doing a workshop series for the Jeep club we're in so the newer members can see/touch/install stuff. Plus get a feel for what's going on under their Jeep. We're waiting on a couple more parts then we'll start building (probably 2 weeks) :drunk:

Thanks! Our thoughts exactly. We've built a Rubi and a Willys before, so this time we figured why spend the $ for a Rubi when most of it will be taken off. The 60 in back was really just more of a splurge :) Probably overkill since we'll never go bigger than a 37" on this one.

My wife got to see her wheels & tires for the first time last night. Held them up to the nearly bald Toyo MTs on my Jeep for comparison.

Night/day difference to the FOX 2.0 that were on there before. I like being able to switch them for different types of wheeling or for DD duty.

I did a little write up for C4X4 when they were new: http://www.c4x4.com/Articles/Mar2017/Teraflex/Shocks.html

Nice! I'm running OME and have been really happy with them off road, but might consider these when the time to replace comes.

Read your post in c4x4. Want me a set front and rear. Maybe over kill for me. Don't have the off-road excursions you guys have. But I do like to have the latest updates. Even if I can't afford them. Lolll.

That was the first time i'd really splurged on a mod, really glad I did. The wife's new lift came with the Falcon adjustable SS, I stole it a couple of weeks ago and really like it too. Thought about telling her I'm keeping it, but I want hydro :D

Here's a few pics from the build last night.

We tore down the front axle and removed it, tore down the rear and removed it. Built the rear Teraflex CRD60 and installed, built the front Tera44 but haven't installed it. So we'll continue on Friday and Saturday, order drive shafts on Monday and wrap it up next Wednesday (hopefully) :) Line-x called and said the Poison Spyder fenders are ready so I'll pick them up later today.

    Pre-tear down meeting:

The wife was the first one to jump in and start tearing down. She decided she likes the impact driver and said she'll roate her own tires now. We'll see :D
