0CEFCD96-989C-4D03-99DB-553BCFABDF66.jpg Ok, so here is the update.
    I got everything wired up.

    E0C12242-B9EC-4536-8742-F231EDDFA318.gif

I tapped the power for the light off the marker lights. The in the cab switch I wired with a micro fuse tap off of slot 6 in the fuse box for the rear wiper.

So there is a double safety if you will. Lights won’t come on without the key on, and they won’t come on without the marker lights on.

I will post some pics tomorrow. I need to trim down the wire length in the engine compartment but for the most part clean, and no suppluforous wires to the battery. That just looks so redneck and lazy. Very clean and the light are incredible.

If you are redneck and I offended you, go back to your little moble home, pull the engine out of the bath tub, clean up all the mold, take a nice hot shower, put some cream on that burn and GFYS! LOL

Simply use a multimeter and check for 12V power on an interior source such as the cig lighter which usually has 12V power with the key in

Nothing in my world is ever easy.
Don’t have a volt meter. But I got it hook up to a source in the fuse box...

Sometimes high beams make it hard to see everything but they are awesome blinding attractive distractions...LOL

I would be worried that the circuit for the marker lights can't handle that kind of current draw. Not only that the power for the lights has to go through the entire wiring harness (voltage drop) and through the vehicles light switch. Could over load the factory switch and wiring.

Just the halos are going through the marker lights. But if you think that might still be too much draw, perhaps I need to connect to a different local?

I think I was distracted and forgot you were just talking about wiring up the halos.
They may be fine, I am just not a fan of adding on to an existing factory circuit.

With the sudden surge in highbeam samples I admittedly got blindsided too!

Generally LEDs draw less amperage and not cause issues but check the OEM relay capacity to confirm
