What up Jeepers? So I just put my hard top back on for the Fall and Winter Seasons and now the rear wiper is not working. So not sure if it's the wiring harness or the motor and also if you try to turn it on the radio skips. ??? Anyone ever had this problem?

Not sure how the radio is connected to your wiper problem but if the HT has been off all summer the wiring harness to the rr wiper may have been crushed, kinked or damaged in some manner. Get a multimeter to test the wires while operating the wiper switches. Check the ground for bad connections or short. Wiper motor should be checked to verify its not the issue.

While I was trying to get the wiper to work the radio kept pausing/skipping and I was thinking to myself well now my radio is jacked up. So I left it alone for maybe 10 mins and then tried the wiper again and it still wasn't working and then I got to thinking that every time I tried the wiper the radio skipped so sure nough every time I turn the wiper on the radio skips, every single time, so I'm not sure how that's tied in together.

Sounds like you could have a wire grounding out on the body. When you put the top back on is there any chance you pinched any wires with a screw or bolt or nut or between the top and body? The Wiper worked when you took the top off Right?

That’s possible, I will check. Yes, the wiper worked fine when I took it off and stored it for a couple months.

Well, I unhooked the connector to the motor and blew it out and wiped some residue off and hooked it back up and it works fine. So looks like it wasn’t getting a connection, thank goodness!

Here is what I use on connections. After cleaning them I put this on to help electrical connection and keep out water and crud. Just my two cents worth....LOL
