Custom ordering a 2018 JK question

Hello all, I’m new to the forums and have a question regarding custom ordering from a dealership.

I have my eye on a 2018 JK w/the Altitude package. With the ordering banks closing soon though I’m not sure how much of a deposit is required to process the build.

Can anyone help answer this question for me.

The answer to the deposit question would be best answered by the dealer.

An update from January 2017

• 2018 JK -- 6 Month Model Year
• 2018 JK Production Start Date -- October 2, 2017
• 2018 JK Production End Date -- March 30, 2018
• 2018 JK Order Banks Open -- August 10, 2017 (Note: it's possible that this date could be moved to the following month with banks opening on September 14th)

An update from September 2017
"The JK Wrangler receives a few swan song updates for 2018. New special edition models join the lineup, including the Golden Eagle and Altitude. Golden Eagle models feature cosmetic upgrades including a tan soft top, available tan half doors, Golden eagle badges, 17-inch bronze wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich K02 tires, bronze interior stitching, black cloth seats, a body color grille, and fender flares with bronze accents.
The Altitude returns for 2018 featuring a power bulge hood, standard body color hard top, and black taillamp guards and fuel fill door. These are offered along with 18-inch wheels wrapped with Bridgestone Dueler tires. Inside, look for Liquid Titanium interior accents, standard black leather seats, and Diesel Gray stitching"

 

You shouldn't have to place a deposit. I never have when ordering. They will sell it whether or not you pick it up.
