I need help!! I installed the bilstein 5100 dual steering stabilizer on the JKU. Did everything per instructions. As of right now I'm only getting one turn of the steering wheel before it bottom/tops out. According to directions I need to space out my brackets 16 inches center of hole to center of hole, did that. Tighten everything down to spec, done. Go to turn the wheel to check turn radius. One turn of the fuckin wheel before bottom/top out. I took everything off and started over. Same results... anybody got anything for me to try before I derail myself??

I was given the wrong brackets that bolt to the tie rod. Only thing I had to do was flip them around and switch sides to get the length that I needed for the travel of the shock. Called the folks I bought the kit off of and they told me that I got the wrong brackets but they would still work if I switched them around. I ended up talking to their technician and he also verified switching the brackets would work. That got me the lengths that I needed to make my full steering cycle. Works like a charm now

Mind if we leave the thread in case someone else has the same issue?

Doesn't that drive ya crazy. You follow all the instructions. And some thing just isn't right. You tear it down and reinstall. And the same issue. And you start to question your wrenching skills. And it turns out to be a manufacturers issue. :annoyed:. Been there....done that. I have a good idea how you felt dude.

Good it worked out for ya.

Yea I'm just happy that the brackets would work being flipped around. I had thought of doing that in the first place but sometimes things just aren't meant to be used backwards. But my steering is tight and for right now the DW is gone till I get my new Trac bar installed and hopefully that gets rid of it once and for all.
