my jeep keeps cutting off for on me at about half temp.it seems to turn off when I'm stopped but it has turn off once while I was driving. 2001 Jeep grand Cherokee Laredo any ideas on what it might be? I got the crank shaft sensor replaced. But it still does it.

Somtimes I'll notice if I tap the gas just a little it will keep accelerating for a quick second and then stop. But that's about it

Are you saying that when you start up and start driving after a few minutes it stalls. Does this happen everytime? Do you have a check engine light. Pull the codes it should tell you. Codes can be read for free at most autoparts stores. Sounds like you have a bad sensor: cam, crank, or temp most likely.

Can you have the codes read, and post them for us?
