    i got a 2016 jku. Mt.
Two weeks ago on a trail while in 4 lo 2 gear about 4K rpms lost power and died. Got two codes but they would show on my reader and Christmas tree of lights.
    Traction control
    Parking break
    Check engine
    Sway bar
    Lockers
    Abs
    So on...
Turned out to be a bad fuel pump. This was at 5500 miles.
Today on trail on a hill climb 4 lo 2nd gear 3k rpms check engine came on.
    Misfire cylinder 6.
Tried to limp it back, died on me again. Only light on is check engine.
    6 codes be thrown
    Misfire cylinder 6
    Drivetrain module
    Can't see the rest.
When trying to turn over cant hear the clicking of the fuel pump.
    This is at 6k miles

Are they known for going out? Any thoughts?

Well, I don't know about the 16s but that has not been a common issue (to my knowledge) on the 12-15.

This is not a fix to whatever is throwing the codes but disconnecting the battery for about 40 minutes may reset your computer and get you out of limp mode.

Attempted that, held the positive and negative to bleed to the system. After resetting Ecu same codes thrown. I will post codes tomorrow.

When I say limp I mean I was trying to take it easy on the way In wasn't actually in limp with limited power. I have no power can get the engine to turn over.
