I hear a clunking sound coming from the rear of my TJ when I go over bumps or turn. When I push sideways on the back tires I can hear it but I cannot find where it is coming from. Anyone have any ideas???

Might be best to have a friend lay under it, while you shake it. See if you can isolate the sound that way.

Simple clunk sounds while parked could be loose or worn shock or sway bar mounts/bushings. Clunk sounds while in motion could be more serious/involved like u-joints, bearings, gears. Others may chime in with TJ-specific experience.
