Good afternoon everyone from Fort Wayne, Indiana. I have recently noticed a loud clicking noise coming from the front end while my 4wd is engaged. Has anyone else every experienced this issue. I am trying to trouble shoot the cause so I can possibly fix it myself without having to pay a mechanic a small fortune.

    Thanks everyone!!

Sounds like a axle shaft U-joint to me. Good time to change the hub bearings.

That's what I was afraid of. Thank you!

Follow up question. Would a bad u joint cause the front drive shaft to have play in it or am I looking at more than just u
