IMG_1276.jpg I tried a temp fix with tape lol but it didn't work. I'm tired of looking at it like this. I tried getting the corrosion off with wd40 and a wire brush but it didn't work too well. And now it's starting to rip the metal off the window where the end of the zipper is. It just wont move damn it!

Once you go naked all your problems just melt away....(thats a good line during hookups by the way). I miss my so basic YJ when it was naked all summer rain or shine. Just grabbed a towel to wipe off the vinyl seats and drain holes opened ....so simple with minimal electronics

There is this stuff you can by that is specially for zippers by the brand "Mothers" that works wounders. I was looking at it the other day at the local parts store. They also make stuff for the soft top to clean it. You just spray it on wait a minute or five then wash off with water.

Here is a good quote. "She never wears a top, she likes to get dirty, and she always lets me inside...A jeep is the perfect wife or girlfriend." LOL

Agreed. I'm either in her, on top of her, under her, or playing with her. Best friend with benefits I've ever had.

Great job! What did you use or do to break down the corrosion that affected the zipper? I had some success in the past against corrosion with WD40 which has lubricant/solvent properties but might be ineffective against say somebody's milkshake spill or whatever. An old trick with zippers was wax which could help keep it lubed.
