LOL!! I work in construction. Do underground utility installation of water, fire, sewer, storm drains, etc. I worked in the field for many years, and got "promoted" into the office as a project engineer/manager.

Yo Chris. We have some thing other than a jeep in common. Does Mueller, Dresser, Powerseal, or Griffen or US PIPE sound familiar? I worked for a Wholesale Distributor for 10 years a few years ago. I was in sales / field sales. Could take apart and rebuild a fire hydrant in 15 flat. Did live water taps weekly. Also worked with engineering companies helping build treatment plants and such. The company I worked for was the best on the east coast when it came to manufacturing flanged piping. Whats your back round?

Go figure. I have a heights issue. But I had no issue jumping out of planes. Not the same. Strange.

Oh man! We do a lot with Muller and US pipe. My background is entertaining........I went to college with a major in Accounting, and Business management. Instead, I learned how to get stupid drunk, and find my way home. I quit college after a motorcycle accident, and got a job with Best Buy for a while. Moved up to the Tandy Corporation, managing a crap ton of stores, then went to Garret Aviation before they got bought out. I got fat, hated my job, and wanted to be outside. One day, my boss had a melt down over some stupid crap, and that Friday I quit. I got a job as a labor for a construction company, and found myself at the bottom of a ditch with a shovel, and wondering WTF I did. I lost weight, worked hard-ish, and showed up on time, every day. I learned the trade, and slowly moved up. I really enjoy working in the construction field, as I always believed in ending the day knowing something was accomplished. Construction gave me that, and was tangible. I love looking back and thinking "I helped build that". Ive been thru the tough times, seen people injured, killed, limbs crushed, and broken a few bones of my own along the way. Ive seen the end day of a competed project, and seen the happiness shared among a group that worked hard to finish a project. A couple years ago, a company offered me the job I'm in now, and here I am. Fat again. It has its good days, and bad days, but I don't quite have the same feeling at the end of a day.......the tangible feeling of building something. I miss that a bit, and struggle with weather or not I want to go back in the field. IN the meantime......I have this place to babble about Jeeps.......and.......evidently......Snakes. Hopefully none of you guys come on here with a Tapeworm issue......
