    Happy Birthday to me.
Finally picked up Quadratecs Diver Down Seat Covers. Upgrading interior. I really like'em. Tight fit. Look great. Also an added comfy upgrade. Really nice upgrade. 20170701_142255.jpg

Happy B-day! Good job covering up those questionable stains on the driver's seat

Rolling through the gears have never been as much fun when you don't have to look at the tach to shift.

I put new valve stems and valve stem covers on my tires, and swapped out the shifter knob for a custom one. That is about it for yesterday. I am waiting on my step bars and grab handles to get here. I am having them custom made from a fab shop but seems like they are taking forever and the dude doing it is a friend of mine. I guess its becuase I cant wait to see what they look like when he is done.

You should just have to beable to hear when you need to shift.

If you don't mind, how much were they? I'm beating up my Wet Okole covers pretty good, and I don't think they are the quality they once were.

I have to comment on jeep_guys post on how important it is to maintain valve stems. We do tend to forget theses.
Back several years ago while I still had my XJ. Went to see my parents one weekend. Run this little trail near their house real quick and head to their house. At one point my Dad notices I had a low tire. We start up his compressor and start to reload the tire. As fast as I was refilling, it was escaping. Yup, bad stem. We looked at the other 3. And they were dried and cracked. My Dad had this double sided sticky shit , and wrapped it. . And I got home in one piece. Had all 4 replaced the next day. 5 years is the extreme max to run them.

We constantly upgrade our rigs. And this is one we do tend to forget. Thanks jeep guy.

Chris4x4. Their listed at 169.99. I got a deal for 150. Not sure if I should mention how. But it was a legit discount. Let me talk to the salesperson that got me the discount. And I'll pass it on to you if your interested.

Can you take a picture of the front seats, but the back adjuster? O want to see if they go all the way down, or stop just above it.

I'll get you a pic. But they do go all the way down.

Funny you asked that. They do add about a 1/4 to your seats. My Mom wanted to pick up some mulch at Home Depot. When I went to fold down the back seat. I had to force it. No issues, I go to the gym. Lol. But yes. The added foam made it a tad tougher. For my 77 year old Mom. A work out. For me. No issue. But nothing that i didnt expect. The added upgrade look. The comfy on my ass. All good. I like'em.

Installed a Back Seat recline kit I found on Amazon, 11.5mm (yes....eleven point five mm) I machined down from a 3/4", to account for sagging springs due to bumper weight, and put a cool CRKT knife on my rear roll bar. Pics to come tomorrow.

Definitely Chris. Would really like to see how you mounted CRKT knife. I have this Trail Axe I won here and looking for mounting ideas. I do have an idea. But would like to see your idea. And pics count. Lol.
