New engine 350 chevy with shortie headders

    305 chevy engine autmatic trasm
    Remove old 305 and put in a 350 chevy with shortie headers, need new exhaust and I'll be back on the road

    I'm a huge fan of Chevy small blocks. Had many over the years. Awesome power, decent fuel economy, easily maintained and repaired. Very dependable motor. If you can drop it in a jeep. I just became your biggest fan. :)

    Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear. AMC20 with G2 1 piece chromos trussed, Dana 30 with G2 chromos and 760x ujoints and MM Stainless Hubs, Geared 4.56. Tom Woods shafts, Metal cloaks, Caged, 37" Toyo MTs.

    The 350 isn't any bigger externally than the 305 providing that is a Chevy 305 you are replacing. Everything should bolt right up as they have the same bolt patterns. It is always fun to go bigger. Both motors work great in a jeep. You have the quadratrac which if I'm not mistaken comes with the GM TH400 tranny. What an awesome setup. My only question is did Jeep use an adapter plate to get the tranny to mount to their motor, or is it custom drilled to mount to their motor making you have to drill you own mounting holes on the bell housing to make it fit the 350?
