Specifically looking at these buying them used with about 5k miles on them. These would be an upgrade from 33” to 35”, so anything I need to do to add them, I already have flat fenders for clearance and some backspacing.

Anyone have any insite? Good all terrain? Will be used for daily driver with some off-roading on weekends.

No experience with these but I really liked my Michelin XTS M/S for a commuter tire with some weekend fun.

Those of you who went from 33’s Up to 35’s, are the brakes something that needs upgraded or can they handle 35’s?

Lite brite nation u-tube Jeep couple tested the Milestar Patagonia with decent results.
This spring I’ll be installing the Dynatrac brakes to prep for 35s. Heavier tires need better braking.

This is what I have on my Jeep. Think these are enough for the 35's?

Amazon.com: Power Stop (Z23-1274) Z23 Evolution Sport Brake Pads, Rear : Automotive

Also, another question. I have 17" rims and the tires I'd be getting would be the exact specs Patagonias I posted a few posts ago. Would those tires fit my 17" rims or how do I find that out?

20190914_171853_HDR.jpg I can't compare my brakes with running 35s cuz I swapped out my brakes before I jumped to 35s. But I'm running the same Power Stop brakes you are @Jeep4Life . And I love'em. I've never had an issue stopping at high speeds. You should be fine.

Your 17" rims will fit the tire you posted up your buying. The tire 35x12.50R17 your buying. The 17 8n that number is your rim size. You'll be fine.

Ok, got the tires but haven’t installed them yet. Next big question how much weight can the oem tailgate support without needing a reinforcement? Seen many different comments, people saying their 35’s are fine without reinforcing and others saying their tailgate sagging because of the added weight.

Are any of those numbers on the tire the weight itself?

No. There is no weight cast into tires. I'm sure you can find a shipping weight with a retailer. Also, don't forget the weight of your wheels.

My personal opinion. Find an upgraded hinge that's rated for a 35" plus tire. Don't take the chance. Especially....since you offroad. It's not worth taking the chance and breaking stuff. Upgraded mine 5 years ago. And no issues as of yet.

The OEM tire carrier will probably support the 35” spare while parked. The problems begin with normal driving and especially off-road. The 35” spare tire weight plus any road vibration will eventually cause the OEM tire carrier to fail damaging the tail gate and hinges. Bunch of aftermarket tire carriers designed for heavy spare tires to choose from.

Guess I’ll be riding around with my tire in my trunk for a bit until I can afford an upgrade to the tire carrier.

In case anyone else is looking at these tires..... I swapped them out as well as balanced and got an alignment done.

On road/street they aren’t the best but they are fine. A little wiggle here and there but could be due to the fact 3 tires have about 5k miles on them and the 4th(left rear) is a brand new tire. Not much of a difference between new/used but there is a small difference.

Highway they are ok until you start to get up to around 65+ MPH then there is a little bit more of a wiggle on the steering but may also be because I’m sitting higher up with the 35’s and 2.5 lift. Add the 3 semi used and 4th new affect again here again. I’ve also noticed a little loss of power around that 65-70mph area since I did not re-gear. Not a big loss of power but just enough to be noticeable. Also, considerably noisier at higher speeds as well but I think that goes for all bigger sized tires.

Off-road test will be next weekend so I will update then.
