ABS Traction control light followed by grinding noise when applying brakes

    Hello everyone, does anyone have or have had an issue with the ABS and Traction Control light on followed by a grinding noise when applying the brakes on a jk 2017.

    2.5” lift 32x11.50x15,cold air intake, Smittybuilt stainless steel Bumpers, rough county pocket flares,Rugged ridge seat covers and floor mats. Conversion LED headlights 20’ LED Light bar hardtop,soft top,bikini top.
    Have you checked the brakes?
    Sounds like you need new pads

    Brakes should not grind. Check for rust, calipers for proper function, rotor surface, make sure slide pins move freely and lubed. Scan for codes in case a wheel speed sensor failed or line was tweaked
