My 2006 six cylinder jeep commander is not firing on the passenger side I just replaced the head gaskets on both sides and I replaced the O2 sensors because it was throwing codes. Now it's giving me a new code P0300 and the is no spark on the passenger side. I checked the coils and they are working I'm now at a loss. Does anyone have any advice.

Well, if you are getting a P0300 and you have spark at the plugs on that side...fuel is the next thing I would look at.

I'm not much help on the newer electronics and codes and so forth, but Richard, I do believe he said that the passenger side was not getting any spark.

Ok...lets back up. Understand, I am making this up. I have no specific familiarity with the 3.7.

With it being just the one side, now that I re-read your original post, it has a BIG chance of being the head. It is not uncommon at all.

With the hope it may be something other than the head:
Are you getting all the codes in the system or are you doing the "key dance"? Essentially, are you using a reader? If you are, are there any other pending or stored codes? What were you getting before doing the gaskets?

Have you tried switching components, like the coils, to the other side and seeing if the code/symptoms change? if you even suspect a possible bad coil, just replace them all.

A failing PCM could likely cause this. Have you done a code clear?

    Just throwing stuff out....
