    Tires and lift.....for now
Just purchased my first jeep, used, from an out of state dealer. They assured me it would pass inspection, well.....it didn't. I need some fenders to cover my entire tire and im not sure what to get, they are temporary so i dont want to spend a fortune. My front tire sticks out 10"and the rear 7". Any help would be greatly appreciated. And any other suggestions to make this jeep look nice, lights bumpers etc...

Do you have OEM fenders on now, or are you running no fenders?
All the after market fenders are kinda pricey. Most of them are made from steel.
MCE makes a plastic flare but they are $700 for the set.

Lol I think you mean bushwacker, bushmaster is a firearm company.
    How wide are your tires?
I would measure how wide you need the fenders then start searching from there.
I am have 12.5" wide tires and have full size MCE flare and my tires stick out about 2-3". The MCE flares I believe are 7".

I would definitely measure quarter panel to the edge of tire and see how much coverage you need, that should narrow the search.

    http://www.4wheelparts.com/Fender-F...s.aspx?t_c=80&t_s=409&t_pt=3555&t_pn=W/IS7314

Just for reference here is a set of 10" front flare for the jk. As stated before after markets are fairly expensive.

If you can find the right set I like buy from northridge4x4.com. Free shipping on anything over $70, also just order something from them a few days ago and had great customer service. I order a part for an 07-08 jk and they emailed me to confirm vehicle year, as it turned out I ordered the wrong part. They fixed it and have shipped the correct part.

I don't think OEM fenders are wide enough are they?

I think you will need aftermarket flares to reach the 10" coverage required in your state.

On a more serious note... In order to pass inspection, you might be able to add to your existing fenders with something like this:
Just a thought...I won't claim it is a good one.
