Pull any floor mat back and touch the carpet. It could be running down the firewall and you not even see it. I have deep floor mats so I finally noticed it pooling on the mat but never saw it actually drip.

I have deep floor mats, I've spilled gear oil and never cleaned it up but I'm not feeling any warm dampness from water or coolant. I'm also not smelling any coolant either. The "sound" sounds like a static TV and the smoking starts and continues. There's no smells at all...it's weird.

Im going to attempt to use K-Seal Heater Core Sealant to seal the leaking heater core for a timely and temporary fix.

There are three kinds of blower motor resistors for the 93 ZJ and because mine has ATC, I have the $179 resistor to buy... but I found one for $25 on eBay with 18 good reviews and a two-and-a-half year warranty.

Based off the previous pics thought the mangled heater core tube in the engine compartment was the issue. Not a fan of introducing sealants into the system.

The hole was opened on it and was spilling water out when I had it's hose off, after removing the bad hose. Couldn't push the hose all the way to the firewall but it's close. Im not a big fan either but I don't have the money, time, or knowledge to replace the whole heater core

5.9 l shows it flowing in, but water was definitely coming out of this hose (left side from the front of engine) when I removed it and drove, coolant/water spilled everywhere. Hoses appear to be in the same spot as 5.2images.jpg

With A/C you are looking at about 5.5hrs to replace the heater core and that does not include evac/recharge of A/C system.
Honestly it's not necessarily hard, it's just time consuming. If you have A/C the refrigerant lines do take a special tool but you might be able to rent one from the parts store.
I've attached the procedures from AllData as well.

That's a lot of smoke/steam.... does it have a smell at all?
There are very few things in the heater-A/C box to cause this. Not having the blower motor resistor rules out one suspect. The blower motor is really the only other electrical part that could cause smoke, not counting any of the ATC stuff since I am not familiar with all that. Everything else is (or should be) vacuum operated (vent doors) or cable operated (blend door). Not only that your dials are off so the only thing going on in there is the coolant flowing through the heater core.
