I know that I have to replace my heater core hoses in order to get hot water moving through the heater core. But does my blower motor have to do with anything related to heat? It's starting to get so cold out here, that the inside of my windshield is starting to freeze over.

Blower motor will move air through the vents. Big job to get to the heater core which will get you heat at the end. Effective defrosting will need the "other" system.

So blower motor plays a part in blowing hot air right ? When I turn my heat on, even when I had the heater hoses in the right places, no air was being blown out... Would I need a blower to blow hot air once I get my hoses on?

Blower motor is needed to move air through the vents whether hot or cold, fresh or recirculated air. And I'm not just full of hot air .

Disconnect the plug and run wires directly from the battery to the blower. If the fan comes on then I would look at the fuse/relay or switch.
The switch requires you to remove part of the dash to get to the back of the switch and you would need a multimeter/voltmeter so go through each speed. If you get a low ohm (resistance/continuity) reading they are good.

Disconnected? Missing harness? Blower motor is functional with 12V?

That Gap where those two connectors are, isn't there supposed to be a heat resistor there? Where would those two connectors connect to?

Update : Missing blower moter resistor. Without it, the blower motor doesn't work.

Heater core is leaking into the box.
My window would fog up, but I've never seen it rolling like that. Lol
    Passenger floorboard wet?

Work on fixing that small leak from the firewall. If the heater core is any good you might have some jeep heat this winter.

I don't know I didn't think the check the passenger floorboard. Does it mean my heater core is bad and needs replaced?

Have the same issue with my'98 zj...replaced the blower motor and the resistor. Even went to salvage yard and picked a new control panel thinking that
Was it. That shit still don't work. It went from one speed (high) to fock you, you get nothing!! I will say alil bit of heat does trickle out the vents but there is no force behind it!! Shitty!!

If the heater core leaked into the passenger compartment the sweet aroma of coolant would linger or at least the carpet area would be moist.

Morning JMM, the trickle of heat could be a blend door issue.

I didn't do anything but attached the heater hoses and added coolant. Maybe they're put on backwards ? I'll go and let it do it again and watch the floorboard. I'll also look up a hose diagram for the cooling system to make sure they aren't backwards. could smell a hint of coolant as it was smoking. There was also a weird sound just before and loudens as the smoke comes and increases.

Never did any of this when the original hoses were attached.
