Bought my first Jeep last month. Hope it will survive the pot-holes in WV main roads. First drove (a Jeep) on an icy runway in 1972? in Mannheim Germany. The Motor SGT said he would issue me a driver's license provided it was endorsed, on-post-only. Later that year had my first auto accident (not-at-fault) on-post.

Plan to use it as general transportation and for off-roading. A fair portion of WV county roads are considered off-roading.

Welcome! Any pics of your Wrangler?

Why are the pot holes in WV so bad, out of curiosity?

poor drainage for many roads, good freeze/thaw cycles during winter.

Little money to fix them. Poor technique on repairs, do it on rainy day, cold patch, tamp with rakes....

Maybe pix later after I add accessories.

Welcome. Yeah, I hate those stupid cold patch jobs. They do that a lot in Indiana too.
